What do we know about Mohamed Soliman, Boulder attack suspect

() The City of Boulder, Colorado, has released a new detailed timeline of the attack in the city on June 1.

Per the release, a police officer arrived within four minutes of a 911 call, and within a minute of their presence, Mohamed Soliman was arrested.

A call to 911 was received at 1:26 p.m. local time before Soliman was taken into custody by 1:31 p.m.

Within five minutes of being called, a fire-rescue unit was on the scene. “Advanced life support” also arrived at the same time.

The first ambulance arrived a minute later.

118 charges have been filed against Soliman, following injuries to 15 people during the attack.

“The department is taking steps to protect our community by utilizing regional partners and local resources. Visitors should expect enhanced security measures and increased police presence,” a statement from the city read.

“We encourage the public to ‘see something, say something’ report any suspicious activity to an officer in the area or to dispatch. For safety in public spaces, it is important to be aware of your surroundings, let others know where you are, and follow your gut instinct.”
