This week ends with more explosive testimony in the government’s case against disgraced rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During the lunch break before “Jane” was set to testify, Judge Arun Subramanian cautioned Combs, warning of possible removal from the courtroom. The warning came after the judge observed Combs nodding at the jury on two occasions while his lawyers were cross-examining a previous witness. Judge Subramanian made it clear that any further attempts to sway the jurors would result in Combs being ejected.
Testifying under the pseudonym “Jane,” Combs’ ex-girlfriend emotionally recounted details of drug-fueled sexual encounters. She described how Combs disregarded her pleas to stop, and mocked her for crying following one particular incident.
Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, both a graphic designer and a friend of Cassie Ventura, who is also pursuing legal actions against Combs, spoke on Wednesday. She recounted an experience from 2016, where Combs allegedly held her over a 17-story balcony at a Los Angeles high-rise for 10 to 15 seconds, an episode she says left her profoundly traumatized.
