Insiders close to the Innocent Eyes singer have revealed that the wedding is planned for the coming weeks and promises to be an opulent multi-day celebration.

Guests have already received detailed schedules for the celebration – which has reportedly been two years in the making.

According to The Daily Telegraph, among those expected to attend the lavish European nuptials are some of Delta’s nearest and dearest.

Those invited include TV presenter Renee Bargh, former Nine journalist Airlie Walsh, PR powerhouse Gemma Oldfield and her best friend Danielle Cox.

The singer is currently in the UK performing a series of exclusive shows to mark 20 years since her iconic Mistaken Identity album, but it wasn’t just her singing that had people talking.

During a performance at the Hackney Empire, Delta was spotted wearing a sparkling band embedded with diamonds on her ring finger alongside her three-carat engagement ring.

The surprising find had fuelled speculation Delta may have quietly tied the knot with Matthew.

Though the couple did not confirmed any nuptials, the lavish band didn’t go unnoticed.

However, Delta was not wearing the diamond band when she appeared on UK talk show Loose Women the day before, adding to the ring riddle.

Delta, who has remained private about her personal life, got engaged to Matthew, her guitarist and musical collaborator, in September 2023.

Malta holds a particularly special place in Goodrem’s heart.

‘My partner’s family are all from Malta,’ she said, before adding that many of her longtime band members and backup singers also share Maltese heritage.
