US-Israeli Iran Deception: A Coordinated Strategy

A bold claim emerges as US-Israeli coordination allegedly deceived Iran. The Jerusalem Post reports a senior Israeli official confirmed Tel Aviv and Washington collaborated to convince Tehran of viable diplomacy.

Hours before Israel’s Friday assault, President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about negotiation commitment.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the nuclear discussions between the US and Iran on Sunday were actually part of a strategic US-Israeli ploy to catch Iran off guard before Friday’s assault. A post by Trump on Truth Social emphasized, “We are still dedicated to finding a Diplomatic Solution to the Iran Nuclear Issue! I have instructed my entire Administration to negotiate with Iran.”

The Jerusalem Post confirms a senior official received a “clear green light” from Washington.

An unnamed source informed the Post on Friday that Israel lacks the means to completely dismantle Iran’s nuclear program but should focus on significantly damaging Iran’s missile systems and targeting key leaders. These actions should encourage other factions within Iran to challenge the current regime. Meanwhile, an opposition figure from the Knesset stressed that any military actions against Iran should translate into diplomatic success that results in the abandonment of Iran’s nuclear weapons program. This step, according to the official, is the most crucial and challenging, especially with uncertainty about Israel’s full coordination with the US.

In light of this uncertainty, The Times of Israel reports that Israel has invested years into constructing a drone facility within Iran near Tehran. Mossad operatives used drones overnight to target and hit missile launch sites aimed at Israel. Additionally, covertly introduced weapon systems incapacitated Iran’s air defenses, ensuring air superiority for Israeli aircraft:

Israel spent years preparing for the operation against Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, a security official tells The Times of Israel, including building a drone base inside Iran and smuggling precision weapons systems and commandos into the country.

Antiwar.com reports Trump and Netanyahu discussed the attack during a Monday phone call, feigning opposition to deceive Iran. Furthermore, this coordination suggests a unified strategy. The attack hit nuclear facilities and killed leaders, per Antiwar.com. The Jerusalem Post warns of a month of missile exchanges.

Thus, this US-Israeli Iran deception influences U.S. support for Israel, costing billions annually. American citizens question the strategy’s cost, prompting debates on future Middle East policy.
