SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Three people were hurt in a mobile home fire early Saturday near Geneva, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

At approximately 6:12 a.m., reports began to pour in about a fire engulfing a mobile home with two individuals trapped inside, according to a statement by the fire department. When firefighters reached the Racoon Trail vicinity, they discovered that all four occupants had already evacuated the residence.

Two individuals sustained serious burns and were classified as “trauma alerts.” One was airlifted to Orlando, while the other was transported by road. Meanwhile, a third person received advanced life support and was reported to be in stable condition. The fourth individual escaped unscathed, firefighters reported.

In a social media update, the fire department noted that one resident had helped two others evacuate the building, and a fourth person had made their exit through a window.

A defensive attack was made on the fire, which was put out and overhauled with help from the Oviedo Fire Department and Sanford Fire, according to the statement.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the state fire marshal.
