Lionel Messi experienced a proud moment as a father while watching his sons, Thiago and Ciro, celebrate significant victories with Inter Miami’s academy teams at the esteemed 2025 Dreams Cup in South Florida.

The iconic Argentine forward attended the youth tournament, which took place over Memorial Day weekend and gathered some of the finest young talents from across the U.S. and the globe.

Messi, accompanied by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, looked on proudly as Thiago, 12, and Ciro, 7, lifted trophies with their respective teams.

Images shared online showed the eight-time Ballon d’Or recipient visibly excited, as his sons embark on their early journeys, reminiscent of his legendary football career.

The boys themselves were, understandably, thrilled too.

In a joyful Instagram reel posted by Inter Miami’s academy, Thiago is seen jumping up and down with his Under-13 teammates, chanting: “Campeones, Campeones, Ole, Ole, Ole!” Meanwhile, Ciro shared in similar excitement, proudly lifting his trophy with a teammate and flashing a huge smile.

This isn’t the first time Messi’s children have tasted success on the pitch. Back in February 2025, Thiago, Ciro, and their middle brother Mateo, 9, all won trophies during the Weston Cup, another major youth tournament held in Florida.

Clearly, greatness runs in the Messi family.
