When one entertaining Paramount+ show ends, another one is set to begin.
At the start of the year, the finale of Landman Season 1 was broadcast in January, followed by the conclusion of the popular network prequel to Yellowstone, 1923, in February. Fortunately, Landman has received the green light for a second season, although 1923 has wrapped up.
Don’t worry. There are plenty more Yellowstone prequels and spinoffs on the horizon.
Come March, the crime drama MobLand featuring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren made its online streaming debut. Meanwhile, Dexter: Resurrection is set to start on Friday, July 11, available on Paramount+ with Showtime. Although the original Dexter series has left Netflix, all versions are still available for streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime. Now, let’s turn our attention back to Harry Da Souza and his team.
Has MobLand been renewed for a second season? Here’s everything we know.
Is MobLand Airing A New Episode This Week?
Nope. MobLand isn’t airing a new episode for the foreseeable future. The season finale (“The Beast in Me”) premiered June 1 on Paramount+.
How Many Episodes Are There of MobLand Season 1? Will There Be a MobLand Episode 11?
MobLand Season 1 consists of ten episodes. If MobLand is greenlit for a second season, the Season 2 premiere would be the 11th episode of the series.
Has MobLand Been Renewed For Season 2?
No official word on renewal has been announced, but there’s reason for hope regarding a second season. The show not only achieved the highest global series premiere in the history of Paramount+, but Tom Hardy told The Hollywood Reporter that they anticipate “definitely seeing more seasons.”
Pierce Brosnan also wants a second season, and executive producer David Glasser told Deadline that there will “definitely” be a Season 2 back in March.
Paramount tends to make us wait for official renewal announcements — Landman concluded in January but wasn’t officially renewed until March — so the lack of new information isn’t too concerning.
