Katy Perry tears up in emotional tour video after Orlando Bloom breakup

Katy Perry is performing through the pain.

The “Cry About It Later” singer teared up onstage while wrapping the Australian leg of her Lifetimes tour Monday night.

Before belting out “Firework,” the Grammy nominee, 40, looked emotional while making a heart with her hands.

“Thank you for always being there for me, Australia,” Perry gushed in a viral fan video shared via X. “It means the world.”

She visibly collected herself before declaring, “Now let’s sing ‘Firework!’”

The “strong” songwriter’s fans praised her for “pushing through even in the hard times,” referencing her recent breakup from fiancé Orlando Bloom.

One commented that Perry parted ways with her ex-husband, Russell Brand, during her tour in 2011, writing, “F–k her [partners] who keep breaking up with her in the middle of tour.”

Another joked, “If I had a nickel every time Katy Perry experienced a breakup during a tour, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t much but it’s odd that it happened twice.”

The pop star, notably, was married to Brand, 50, for one year before they called it quits.

She moved on with Bloom, 48, in 2016, and the on-again, off-again couple got engaged in 2019 after a brief breakup.

In August 2020, they welcomed their now-4-year-old daughter, Daisy.

Page Six reported last month that Perry and the actor are “over” after nearly a decade together.

Although the duo has not yet commented publicly on their separation, Bloom cryptically reshared an Instagram post to his Story on Monday about a “new beginning.”

The “Lord of the Rings” star also wrote about “bravely” taking a “first step” to get “courage to take on the next.”

As Bloom made headlines last week for partying at Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’ wedding solo while his ex toured, Perry hinted at her “mood” in a carefree Instagram slideshow.

She posted a series of smiling snaps last week, as well as a video of her frolicking on a beach with seagulls.
