The Season 7 catchphrase of The Real Housewives of Miami newcomer, Stephanie Shojaee, “I don’t just sell luxury, I live it,” captures her essence just as stylishly as the Valentino lace gloves she wore in her initial confessional.
Stephanie’s opulent way of life was on full display during her RHOM introduction in Episode 4. She invited Larsa Pippen to join her on an errand, which consisted of indulging in caviar aboard her private jet en route to Orlando to pick up her two dogs. “Like, who does that? Is that even normal?” Larsa commented.
In the episode that aired on July 2, Stephanie, who collaborates with her husband, Masoud Shojaee, in the real estate business, shed light on the couple’s impressive financial success.
“My husband started Shoma Group, the third largest real estate development company in South Florida in the early ’80s,” she said, later adding, “I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be filthy rich. I’m sleeping and I go like this: ‘We gotta make money!’”

What is Stephanie Shojaee’s job?
Stephanie is a real estate developer and president of Shoma Group.
According to her BravoTV.com bio, “Stephanie pours her energy into every detail of Shoma’s developments, from scouting new properties for investment, hiring employees and overseeing Shoma’s in-house property management teams for its apartment communities.”
Stephanie shared more about her career in November 2024, telling The Daily Dish, “There’s actually not many female real estate developers.”
“[My job], it’s actually buying the land, putting up a high rise, 800 units; or [building] rental communities and building a whole leasing team and developing units,” she continued. “There’s a lot. It’s a lot of fun.”
Stephanie Shojaee explains how her upbringing influenced her career journey
Indeed, Miami-born Stephanie attributes her work ethic to spending a good portion of her childhood on her family’s farm in Colombia where she said she “put [her] finger in the chicken’s butt to see if there were eggs in there” and took part in castrating bulls and eating the testicles.
“My parents came to this country with nothing but a backpack,” she added in a confessional. “Being a first-generation American has made me who I am today. There is no room for failure. You have to keep going until you make it. If one door closes, go find another door. If that door’s closed, keep searching.”
Stephanie Shojaee opens up about marriage to husband Masoud Shojaee
Stephanie insisted that she is not where she is today because she married Masoud — though it certainly didn’t hurt. “Yes, maybe I got a little bit of help, but everybody in life gets a little bit of help,” she remarked on RHOM.
Stephanie said she met Masoud at a Miami Heat game when she was 26 years old and he was 50.
“Age difference was a really big deal for me,” the new RHOM ‘Wife admitted. “I did not want to be seen with an older gentleman because of the misconception of people thinking that if you are with an older guy, you are probably a gold digger. And then I met Masoud, and everything changed.”

Expanding their family is not on her radar, though, as she confessed that she couldn’t even imagine changing a diaper. (Plus, as Larsa pointed out, Stephanie believes that “Birkins and boogers don’t go together,” either.)
“Along the way, I did have moments where I thought, like, ‘Hey, maybe you will want kids. Maybe you should freeze your eggs,’” Stephanie shared. “And then I looked at my calendar, and I was like, ‘Yeah, I don’t even have time to go to the doctor to freeze my eggs. I don’t even have time to go pee.”
Stephanie Shojaee responds to claims that she’s “new money”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the RHOM Season 7 premiere about her wealth, Stephanie joked, “It’s really funny because they say that I’m new money. I am,” before highlighting the Chanel logo hair clips she was rocking.
“Listen, I do like to dress expensive,” she continued. “You never really know who’s the richest ’cause you never really know who has it and isn’t flaunting it. But I do tend to be one of the ones who flaunts it the most.”
Inside Stephanie Shojaee’s connection to the RHOM cast
Larsa explained that she met Stephanie through their mutual friend, The Real Housewives of Dubai‘s Caroline Stanbury, and “it was love at first sight.”
As Stephanie told it, she “didn’t want to meet” Larsa at first, but quickly realized she “has a really good sense of humor” and “just loved her.”
Coming into Season 7, she also said she also really loved Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton but didn’t know any of the other ladies yet. However, members of Stephanie’s glam squad worked with Lisa Hochstein “a really long time ago.”
Marysol, who described her new castmate as “tough” and “no bulls–t,” said that they’d been following each other on Instagram for about two years, and she also used to work with Masoud when she ran her own PR company.
Stephanie also previously dated RHOM alum Nicole Martin’s fiancé, Anthony Lopez.
Having already described her pet peeve as “people that are late,” Stephanie also had an uncomfortable moment when Lisa cited the facts that she’s rich and has “an amazing jet” and yacht as her reasons for wanting to befriend the newbie.
“I think it’s a little bit rude to want to be my friend because what I have,” Stephanie stated in a confessional. “Would you be my friend if I invited you to my Colombian farm to eat chicken noodle soup? Would you eat testicles? Or do you only want to come hang out with me and have caviar and rosé in the sky?”
