Time really does seem to pass by quickly! Alexis Bellino is demonstrating this as she offers new insights into the early phase of her romance with John Janssen while they eagerly anticipate their upcoming wedding day.

Not too long ago, the former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County shared a nostalgic moment on Instagram, reminiscing about how she and John first crossed paths thanks to a special duo. The post featured a side-by-side photo comparison highlighting how the couple may have transformed—or intriguingly, remained unchanged—since they first connected roughly eighteen months ago.

“Then and now…. November 15, 2023, to May 16, 2025. The pair that brought us together,” she mentioned in the post, acknowledging their friends, Ricky and Ryan. “Pretty amazing, isn’t it?”

The couple recently went on a lavish cruise to Alaska together ahead of their wedding in what could be considered a pre-wedding honeymoon vacation. Ahead of the trip, Alexis took a moment to share the news about their special vacation, but also react to any speculation that might be out there about them. She captioned the Instagram, “Don’t listen to the rumors.”

They have also been attending other people’s weddings, going to concerts, and keeping busy with their kids. Alexis also reportedly put her house on the market.

As the couple inches closer to their happily ever after, it also means they are getting closer to blending their families officially (Alexis has kids from her first marriage to Jim Bellino and John has kids from his previous marriage). Alexis recently opened up about her life as a mom.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all of you INCREDIBLE moms out there!!! It’s a tough job yet THE MOST rewarding job!!!! There is nothing I’d rather have a title of than ‘Mom.’ Not everyone has that title. I was graced by God to get Miles, Kenna and James. My three forever besties. And not only do I have 3 biological kiddos, I now have three bonus kids that I love the same. God knew I needed 3 more kiddos to complete my package!! It’s a very difficult Mother’s Day for me because I feel so loved and blessed, yet I’m still missing a piece of my heart. I’m blocking out emotions in missing my mom,” she wrote, before reflecting on her mom’s passing back in 2023. 

She added, “I know time is suppose[d] to heal all wounds, but I don’t know that time will heal this wound… Life isn’t the same without her. I’d give anything for one more hug from her. Moms are THE BEST. Go give your mom a big hug on this Mother’s Day!!!!”
