Kebab shop workers allegedly had a knife pulled on them by a teen during a 32-hour crime spree across Melbourne that came to an end this morning

Two teenagers have been arrested and one is still on the run after a spate of alleged armed robberies between Tuesday night and this morning.

The crime spree allegedly began at a Werribee service station on Tuesday night before another 19 armed and attempted armed robberies across the city.

CCTV also shows the group of three, wearing black clothing and balaclavas, allegedly smashing their way into a service station in Braeside about 2.15am before ransacking the till and cigarette cabinet. (Nine)

Police allege the group used an allegedly stolen Mercedes-Benz wagon to steal cash and terrorise staff at service stations, tobacco stores and fast food restaurants across suburbs including Truganina, Laverton North, Bentleigh and Oakleigh.

The Mercedes was then linked to armed robberies at five separate service stations in Doncaster East, Mount Waverley, Clarinda, Clayton South and Braeside between 1am and 2.15am today.

It’s alleged the group threatened terrified staff with knives and baseball bats during some of the burglaries.

About 6pm last night, police were told three of the offenders entered a Narre Warren South kebab shop, where they produced a knife before fleeing with a cash register till.

CCTV shows a hooded male wearing gloves and a face mask walk into the shop and pull a knife out of his pocket.

About three hours laters, staff at a Huntingdale pizza shop were forced to hide in the kitchen as the group allegedly helped themselves to the cash register.

It all came to a crashing end in Pakenham this morning, after a patrolling police car noticed the vehicle on the Princes Highway just after 6am.

The car was followed to nearby Olivia Court, where a 15-year-old and 17-year-old boy were arrested.

The 17-year-old was already on bail for armed robbery.

A third male fled on foot, according to police.

Resident Ellie McKerrow says one youth ran through her backyard after the group dumped the luxury car.

“Yeah, up to eight or 10 young kids with balaclavas, black hoodies … and one of them actually had a samurai sword,” she alleged.

“You’re used to hearing about machetes, but never thought I’d see a samurai sword.

Police returned to the homes in Pakenham this morning to collect forensic evidence.
