The 49th annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks show left New Yorkers awe-struck.

The spectacular event showcased 80,000 shells launching 1,000 feet above the Brooklyn Bridge and East River, marking a significant increase from the 60,000 shells used the previous year.
