Bill O'Reilly says Iranian mullahs in 'shaky land'

() Bill O’Reilly believes Democrats criticizing President Trump following the deaths of more than 100 people from floods in central Texas are clutching at straws.

The “No Spin News” host joined “On Balance” on Monday night to discuss the political reaction from some on the blue side of the aisle to the flooding.

“The desperation takes many forms, and the Texas flooding is just one of those,” O’Reilly explained. “So any responsible human being would wait until after the catastrophe is over, and then launch an investigation into whether there was something wrong with the system, not in the middle of it.”

Some Democrats have claimed that President Trump and his administration deserved some of the blame following cuts to the National Weather Service and FEMA.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt referred to such rhetoric as “a depraved lie” in a news conference Monday.

“A lot of people are distracted these days, they’re in the woods or they’re on the river, they’re not getting it,” O’Reilly said of individuals not receiving emergency alerts. “That’s nobody’s fault.

“The whole (progressive) movement is collapsing. Colleges are repudiated; they’re being forced to. They’re losing their grip on education. They’re being repudiated in economic matters. They’ve got nowhere to go.”
