LOS ANGELES — Gabby Windey is in her hosting era!
The reality tv star has been named host of “Love Overboard,” Hulu’s reality dating series.
The series, initially called “Overboard for Love,” is set aboard a luxury yacht. As per the official description, “Attractive singles are eager to connect and potentially find romance. However, there’s a catch… accessing the yacht’s lavish facilities won’t be easy. As the journey progresses, new romances spark, alliances are built, and hearts are broken. Ultimately, just one couple will emerge victorious. Who will claim the top spot, and who will find themselves left behind?”
Gabby Windey is quite familiar with seeking romance on television. Her journey began as she competed for Clayton Echard’s affection on “The Bachelor.” She then took the spotlight as a co-host of “The Bachelorette” alongside Rachel Recchia. Although she didn’t find lasting love (she ended her engagement with Eric Schwer shortly after the season concluded), she gained a supportive fan base charmed by her down-to-earth personality. Fans rallied behind her during her stint on “Dancing With The Stars” and her victory in season three of “The Traitors.” They also supported her when she revealed her new relationship with actress and comedian Robby Hoffman on “The View.”
Fan support is something Windey has understood and appreciated since her “Bachelor” beginnings.
“I think meeting fans is so special, because we would be nothing without them,” Windey told On The Red Carpet back in 2022.
We’ll see her gain some new fans as she enters the hosting arena on “Love Overboard,” which will premiere on Hulu and Disney+ in 2026.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
