Saint Simons Island man arrested for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children

GLYNN COUNTY, GA. () — The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) has arrested and charged a 13-year-old juvenile on July 15.

On Tuesday, officers from the GCPD responded to multiple theft reports involving vehicles in the Somersby Pointe neighborhood. An investigation revealed that personal belongings and a firearm were taken.

With the help of camera footage provided by local residents, detectives from the GCPD Criminal Investigations Division identified a 13-year-old as the suspect.

Following an interview, the juvenile was taken into custody and charged with two counts of theft for breaking into vehicles and two counts of possessing a handgun while under the age of 18.
