PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Divers in a search of the Deschutes River recovered a second body from a group that went over Dillon Falls on Saturday, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said.

Six people went over Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River around 3 p.m. Saturday, prompting an immediate multi-agency search. Three were rescued and rushed by ambulance to St. Charles-Bend.

One woman’s body was quickly found. Two others remained missing over the course of the first days of the search.

On Monday, authorities said another woman’s body was found around 11 a.m., while one man is still missing.

The recovery effort continues on land, in the water and by air. K9s have also been part of the search “along the river corridor between the Dillon Falls Day Use Area above the falls and the Aspen Day Use Area below the falls,” officials said.

The names of those involved have not yet been released publicly.
