‘South Park’ Season Premiere Shows Trump In Bed With The Devil: “Come On, Satan”

South Park finally returned to Comedy Central with a searing episode taking aim at President Donald Trump.

The 27th season kicks off with “Sermon on the Mount,” humorously critiquing Trump’s recent agreement with Paramount as well as CBS’s debated move to cancel The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, accompanied by running jokes about his anatomy.

In the episode, Trump files a $5 billion lawsuit against South Park for mocking him. Jesus tries to persuade the town to resolve this with the president, unleashing a frenzied speech that reveals the real sentiments of the show’s creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, about Paramount’s union with Skydance.

“Did you see what happened to CBS? Well, who owns CBS? Paramount. Do you really want to end up like Colbert?” Jesus remarks in the episode. “You’ve got to stop being foolish… He has the authority to sue, take bribes, and can do anything to anyone. He’s the freaking president… South Park is done for.”

And they didn’t stop there. The very same episode depicts Trump in bed with Satan.

“Come on, Satan, you know you can’t resist this,” Trump says in the episode as he exposes his genitalia.

“I can’t even see anything because it’s so small,” Satan fires back disgustedly.

This has been a dramatic year for the hit Comedy Central series. Parker and Stone just signed a $1.5 billion deal with Paramount Global that guarantees 50 new episodes over five years and gives Paramount+ exclusive streaming rights.

The premiere of South Park Season 27 was also inexplicably delayed by two weeks. Parker and Stone openly blamed Paramount’s “shitshow” merger.

“In response to the press release from Comedy Central about the change in premiere date for ‘South Park,’ Trey Parker & Matt Stone said – This merger is a shitshow and it’s fucking up South Park,” their statement reads. “We are at the studio working on new episodes and we hope the fans get to see them somehow.”

It was a bold decision to take shots at Trump. There is growing speculation that CBS canceled The Late Show after Stephen Colbert criticized CBS’ parent company for its controversial $16 million settlement with President Trump.

New episodes of South Park air Wednesdays on Comedy Central at 10/9c.
