President Trump is remembering his “MAGA all the way” friend Hulk Hogan following the death of the world-famous professional wrestler, saying the “cultural impact he had was massive.”

Hogan, who was born Terry Bollea, died Thursday at 71.

“We lost a great friend today, the ‘Hulkster,'” Trump said in a Thursday post on Truth Social shortly after news of Hogan’s death was confirmed.

“Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,” the president said.

The WWE giant took to the stage last year at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, delivering an animated speech in support of Trump’s White House bid.

Trump said Hogan’s remarks at the convention were “one of the highlights of the entire week,” calling his unexpected appearance “electric.”

“He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive,” Trump said of Hogan, who rose to fame in the 1980s and became one of Trump’s most prominent celebrity allies.

“Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!”

The president was one of several GOP political figures to praise Hogan following the wrestling star’s death. Vice President Vance called Hogan one of the first people he “ever truly admired as a kid,” while House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) described him as a “giant in stature and in life.”
