In Tallahassee, Florida, a significant meeting took place for the second day in a row where Deputy U.S. Attorney General held a private discussion with Ghislaine Maxwell, known for her association with Jeffrey Epstein. These discussions are occurring amid criticism directed at the Trump administration regarding their management of records tied to the Epstein case.

Concerns about the Epstein documents are growing, highlighted by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s extensive meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell on Friday, lasting approximately three and a half hours.

“The truth will come out about Mr. Epstein and she’s the one answering those questions,” said David Oscar Markus, Maxwell’s attorney.

Maxwell is a longtime accomplice of Jeffery Epstein and was found guilty of recruiting, grooming, and trafficking multiple teenage girls.

President Trump came out today saying although he has the power to do so, pardoning Maxwell hasn’t crossed his mind.

“I haven’t thought about it,” said President Trump.

After today’s interview wrapped, Maxwell’s attorney said he hasn’t spoke to the President about a pardon just yet.

“The President this morning said he had the power to do so, we hope he exercises that power in the right and just way,” said Markus.

Markus believes Maxwell was treated unfair and are trying to get her some relief.

However, advocates stress that hundreds of women and young girls’ lives were destroyed by the acts of Epstein and Maxwell.

“Our focus is on advocating for the survivors, supporting women and girls, and seeking justice for them. The sole action that can be taken is to initiate a thorough investigation,” stated Batista.

Elisa Batista with justice organization Ultraviolet took concern with how the Trump administration is handling records in the Epstein investigation, sharing their views on the issue on a banner in the sky that read, “Trump and Bondi are protecting predators.”

“He campaigned on releasing the Epstein files and he won on this issue. And so now what we’re seeing is that he and Pam Bondi and his associates are using this case in an abhorrent way,” said Batista.

A House Committee subpoenaed Maxwell to testify the week of Aug. 11, but her attorneys said they have yet to make the decision about whether she will do that or not.
