A 27-year-old actor, once hailed as a promising star, is now facing charges of r@pe and sexual assault, sending ripples through the entertainment world.

Micheal Ward Charged with Two Counts of R@pe and S*xual Assault

The Metropolitan Police in London have confirmed that Ward has been charged with two counts of r@pe, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of s*xual assault. The accusations involve a single woman, with the alleged events taking place in January 2023.

Detective Superintendent Scott Ware stated:

“Our specialist officers are continuing to provide support to the woman who has come forward. We recognize that investigations like these can have a profound effect on those who report them,” the police stated.

Ward, who denies all charges, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 28, 2025.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) emphasized the importance of a fair trial. Catherine Baccas, deputy chief crown prosecutor, said:

“It is vital that there should be no reporting, commentary, or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”.

Ward’s UK agency, Olivia Bell Management, has dropped him, while his U.S. representation at CAA remains unchanged.
