Their growing family now includes daughter Cherry and newborn son Jesse, whose arrival was anything but ordinary.

Kelly Donegan’s Emotional Birth Announcement

The former Tallafornia star revealed Jesse’s birth in a touching Instagram post. She described the moment as overwhelming, saying,

“Wasn’t expecting you to arrive so fast, but you were clearly determined to make an entrance.”

Kelly, who underwent a C-section with her first child, was elated to have successfully experienced a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) this time around. She expressed her gratitude towards the staff at The Coombe Hospital in Dublin, describing the 3.5-hour delivery as incredible.

“I put my trust in you during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life,”

she wrote.

A Name with Meaning: Jesse’s Arrival

The couple chose the name Jesse, which means “gift of God” in Hebrew, signifying their happiness. Kelly confessed that she never envisioned herself as a mother but now cannot imagine life without her children.

“You burst into our lives and split our already full hearts right open,”

she shared.

Friends and fans flooded the comments with love. Her co-host Amilia Keating wrote, “What a fking woman,”* while others congratulated the family.

From Engagement to a Family of Four

Kelly and Alex’s love story has been public since their 2022 Central Park engagement. They married in a “quiet little chaotic ceremony” in Dublin last April.

Their first child, Cherry, was born in late 2023. Kelly called that experience a “colourful childbirth” and praised Alex as “the best Dad ever”.
