THE family of a popular energy engineer at the center of sick online rumors has been forced to break their silence.

Julian Brown, who has amassed over 1 million followers on Instagram, is confirmed to be safe and out of danger, according to his mother. Concerns were raised when the 21-year-old unexpectedly stopped posting on his social media accounts two weeks ago.

Known for his influence in the energy sector, Brown had been absent online since July 9 following a concerning video upload. In the video, he expressed fear for his safety.

“Something is happening, keep me in your prayers please. SCREEN RECORD THIS. I don’t know,” Brown captioned his video, which featured him inside a vehicle.

“I’m certainly under attack. I can’t go into so much detail,” he added.

Days before his last video, Brown shared another concerning message where he claimed that a “secret helicopter” had found him in the middle of “nowhere.”

Despite his inactivity on social media and his troubling final post, Brown’s mother, Nia, debunked the speculation that her son is missing.

“I can confirm Julian is safe but in the best interest of his security I’m not able to provide any more information,” Nia told the Daily Mail.

Atlanta police also confirmed the agency is not currently looking for a missing person that matches Brown’s information.

“I can confirm that the Atlanta Police Department is not currently investigating any missing persons by that name,” the police department told The U.S. Sun.

BUDDING INVENTOR

The young investor, the founder of Naturejab, has generated a large online following as millions of his fans celebrate him and his creations, including the development of his “Plastoline.”

Brown claims he has designed a device that transforms plastic waste into fuel, powering trucks and lawn mowers, among other fuel-dependent machinery.

“Turning plastic to fuel with reactors has been done before, however, I have been working to innovate utilizing microwaves to turn plastic into fuel,” Brown told the magazine Canvas Rebel in November 2024.

“To date, there is a very niche application of microwave pyrolysis technology at any industrial and continuous operation scales – that is my goal and mission.

“I am most proud of taking the leap of faith into a innovation that is very dangerous, and doing all of the unseen hard work and labor necessary to further this technology.”

Brown added, “I want everyone to know that we are all capable of solving a world problem, no matter the scale.

“We are all seeds full of potential and amazing fears, but our potential must be watered and fertilized into reality with strong faith, hard work and experience.”

Brown was also interviewed by Forbes in March, where he explained to the business magazine what motivated his “Plastoline” innovation.

“What motivated me was seeing the large plastic issue at hand throughout the world and not seeing any obvious solutions that were effective enough to make a difference,” he said.

“It made me so upset that even though we are told that we are recycling, plastic is clearly ending up in the oceans and landfills where it is affecting so many lives.”
