The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested two “associates” accused of helping a fugitive quadruple murder suspect.
Giovonte Thomas, 28, and Tanaka Brown, 29, are facing charges of being accessories after the fact to first-degree murder in the ongoing search for Austin Drummond. Brown has an additional charge for evidence tampering, as stated by the authorities.
Austin Drummond, who is 28, is still evading capture following an alleged incident last week where he killed four people in Tiptonville, approximately 125 miles from Memphis. Police have revealed that an infant left on the lawn of a stranger’s house is connected to the four victims, all of whom are the family of Drummond’s girlfriend.
“Capturing Austin Drummond is critical. We urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact us right away. All tips will be kept confidential,” U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller emphasized in a recent statement, noting that the reward for tips leading to Drummond’s arrest has risen to $17,500.
Investigators have also discovered a 1988 white Ford pickup with a red stripe during their search efforts related to Austin Drummond, as reported by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. However, how this vehicle ties into the case remains undetermined.
Drummond is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping and weapons offenses.
The TBI said he “should be considered armed and dangerous.”
On the preceding Friday, the Jackson Police Department announced the discovery of a vehicle that Drummond had been driving, found deserted on a dead-end street in Jackson, which is nearly 70 miles away from Tiptonville.

The victims – James M. Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15 – were discovered in Tiptonville on Tuesday.
