Funeral service for Pinellas County Schools Police Sergeant to be held this week

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA)— The funeral service for Pinellas County Schools Police Sergeant Greg Graff will be held on Tuesday in Clearwater.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. at the Countryside Christian Church, which is located at 1850 McMullen Booth Road.

Doors open to the public at 9 a.m.

Per the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, following the service, there will be a special ceremony taking place outside the church. This event will feature a 21-gun salute, a last call, and a fly-over.

There is no procession following the service for Graff.

Sergeant Graff died last Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency while on duty at Clearwater High School.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office reported that Sgt. Graff was transported to a hospital after unexpectedly collapsing during an active assailant drill at the school.

Sgt. Graff was pronounced dead shortly after 4:14 p.m.

Greg Graff worked with the Pinellas County Schools police for seven years and previously worked for the Douglas Police Department for 29 years.

Graff was married with three children and six grandchildren.
