If you’re a fan of gaming on a PC rather than consoles, it’s crucial to connect it to a monitor that can handle higher frame rates for a seamless gaming experience. While most gaming monitors force you to choose between resolution and image quality, the Alienware AW2725Q offers both. This 26.7-inch 4K OLED screen boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and a mere 0.03ms latency, ensuring smooth gameplay without stuttering, provided your system has the necessary graphics capabilities. Available for $675.84, which is a $224 discount, this is the lowest price it has ever been on Amazon. Verge Commerce Editor Cameron Faulkner has tested it and is impressed.

The AW2725Q includes Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 support, enhancing contrast and color precision for compatible games. While Dolby Vision is popular in 4K TVs, it’s rarer among gaming monitors. OLED technology allows for true black, making colors more vibrant, and its anti-reflective coating further enhances contrast. The monitor is also compatible with Nvidia’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro, minimizing screen tearing and other graphical issues.

This monitor features two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a 5Gbps USB-B port, three 5Gbps USB-A ports, and a 5Gbps USB-C port. Connecting your PC using the DisplayPort leaves HDMI ports free for consoles. Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can run 4K games up to 120Hz, while the Nintendo Switch 2 supports 4K output at 60Hz. With the AW2725Q, you can fully enjoy games at their maximum resolution and frame rate.
