Liverpool’s sleek new home and away kits for the 2025/26 season mark the third chapter in their long-standing partnership with adidas.

Following years with New Balance and Nike, Liverpool returns to the iconic three-stripes brand, having originally partnered with adidas from 1985 to 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012. Those years were significant in the club’s history, resulting in three league titles, three FA Cups, and many memorable kits. The club now aims to make this third partnership equally noteworthy.

The home shirt reflects Liverpool’s heritage with its all-red design, accentuated by distinctive white adidas three-stripes along the sleeves and a contemporary crew-neck collar. It’s a timeless and unmistakably Liverpool look.

The away kit serves as a chic homage to the club’s legacy. Featuring an off-white base, it includes striking black and red accents. The Liver Bird crest is encased within a shield, subtly paying tribute to the shape of Anfield’s renowned Main Stand, which dates back to 1906.

As always, Liverpool’s kits pay respect to those they’ve lost. On the back of both jerseys, the 97 emblem – honoring the 97 fans who tragically lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster – is enclosed by the eternal flames at the nape of the neck, serving as a poignant tribute to the memories of those who perished that day.

Moreover, fans can opt to include a tribute to Diogo Jota by having “Diogo J. 20” printed on their shirts. All profits from these sales will benefit the LFC Foundation, which will use the funds to establish a grassroots football program in Jota’s name, providing a heartfelt way to honor the forward’s contributions to the club following his tragic passing in July.

Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer at LFC, commented on the launch, saying: “This is more than just the unveiling of a new kit – it signifies the start of a 10-year relationship between LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, anticipation and excitement have been palpable. This initial collection sets the standard for the seasons to follow.”

Liverpool debuted the new home kit during a pre-season double-header against Athletic Club at Anfield, while the away kit will make its first appearance in the FA Community Shield against Crystal Palace on August 10.

Both kits are available to purchase now.
