A couple who visited Devil’s Den State Park on the same day as a double murder at the site claimed they were given a “death stare” by the man accused of killing a couple who had come with their two daughters.

Tony Brueski, the host of the “Hidden Killers” podcast, informed NewsNation that two witnesses reported encountering an individual matching the description of the suspect, 28-year-old Andrew James McGann, just minutes before the incident occurred.

“The couple, along with a brother, sister, and a pet dog, noticed an approaching man down the trail and immediately found him peculiar,” Brueski communicated to the outlet.

The ASP stated that McGann was apprehended at a barbershop in Springdale at 4:57 p.m. on Wednesday. Authorities mentioned that McGann was in the middle of a haircut when ASP officers tracked him down following the deadly attack on Saturday.

McGann faces charges of two counts of capital murder. His arraignment is set for Friday, Aug. 14. Fox News Digital has contacted the ASP for additional comments.
