COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (KTVX) A woman with a history of stalking Post Malone has been arrested for a fifth time, violating the protective order he has against her.

Cherish Gomer, 31, was arrested on August 4 on suspicion of stalking with a prior conviction, a third-degree felony, and violation of a permanent criminal stalking injunction, a third-degree felony.

According to the filed affidavit, Gomer allegedly jumped in front of Post Malone’s car while he was trying to leave his home.

She was arrested on the same charges several days prior, on July 27. Reportedly, that was the second time she had been on Post Malone’s property that week.

The arresting officer requested that Gomer be held without bail, writing that she does not care about the consequences of her stalking and appears to be escalating, attempting more frequent contact.

The officer also stated that Gomer is homeless, and that she believes “a higher power” has told her to continue to go to Post Malone’s residence.

Gomer has previously been convicted of stalking Post Malone, and Post Malone was granted a permanent protective order against her. She was arrested on charges of criminal trespass three times prior to July 27.

She was arrested on January 21 for criminal trespass, though those charges were later dismissed. Her next arrest occurred on February 21, and she pleaded guilty to stalking charges related to that incident. The protective order was granted following this case. She was also arrested for stalking and criminal trespass on February 10, but those charges were dismissed as well.
