() Police in Ohio are searching for who distributed flyers containing Ku Klux Klan propaganda throughout several neighborhoods in Cincinnati.

The flyers, which contain racist messages and a QR code linking to a KKK website, were reported in areas including South Cumminsville and Madisonville, according to WLWT-TV.

“We are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all residents and will continue to take all necessary actions to address and prevent the spread of hate in our communities,” the Cincinnati Police Department said in a statement.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.

Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval addressed the incident on social media, writing, “Outsiders bringing hate to our city is inexcusable. We will not become a city where hate succeeds.”

Kate Botos, president of the Madisonville Community Council, also condemned the flyers, calling them unwelcome and harmful.

“We do NOT support these types of messages in our neighborhood,” Botos wrote.

She said the neighborhood has shared information with the CPD Hate Crimes Unit and urged residents with surveillance footage or tips to call District 2’s nonemergency line at (513) 979-4400.
