() President Donald Trump on Wednesday is expected to announce that Apple is adding another $100 billion to its domestic investments, a White House official confirmed to .

Apple’s newest monetary move adds onto its already promised $500 billion investment earlier this year, bringing the tech giant’s U.S. investment up to $600 billion over the next four years, as first reported by Bloomberg.

“Today’s announcement with Apple is another win for our manufacturing industry that will simultaneously help reshore the production of critical components to protect America’s economic and national security,” White House assistant press secretary Taylor Rogers said in a statement to .

Trump is also expected to announce the creation of the American Manufacturing Program, which will bring more of Apple’s supply and manufacturing to the United States.

“President Trump’s America First economic agenda has secured trillions of dollars in investments that support American jobs and bolster American businesses,” Rogers said in the statement.

It’s the latest move in the Trump administration’s push to produce tech products stateside while imposing tariffs on those made abroad.

Apple previously announced it would expand its data center capacity in Arizona, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Oregon.

The company also confirmed it would build a 250,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Houston, set to open in 2026, and will make servers that were previously manufactured outside of the U.S., which help power its artificial intelligence.

Apple CEO Tim Cook met with Trump at the White House in May, after which Trump threatened to hit the company with 25% tariffs if it did not move its manufacturing to the U.S. — rather than China, where it has long manufactured most of its products.
