BOLO: 10-Year-Old Kentucky Boy Missing, Mom Previously Involved in a Child Endangerment Case

Police in Kentucky are searching for 10-year-old Jackson boy, who hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.

Jadyen Spicer disappeared from his home located in Breathitt County near Panbowl Branch Road, sometime between Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday.

According to his mother, reported by FOX 56, Jadyen went to bed around 9 p.m. on Tuesday wearing his Sonic the Hedgehog pajamas, and that was the last time he was seen.

Jadyen is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a slim build and stands approximately 5 feet. 1 inch tall, according to Lex18.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Gayheart has shared online that all significant areas have been thoroughly searched and that organized search teams are utilizing every resource available.

“In situations like this, we must remain hopeful. However, time is critical,” said Trooper Gayheart. “The longer he remains exposed to the elements, the less likely we are to find him unharmed, statistically speaking.”

Om Thursday, Jadyen’s mother, Felicia Spicer, formerly Felicia Gross, provided a handwritten plea to WYMT, concerning her missing son:

“We love Jayden and want him home safely. If anyone sees my son, Jayden Spicer, please report it to the Jackson Police Department. Thank you. We care for him deeply. Please do the right thing and call the police. Keep Jayden and us in your prayers. Thank you,” said the family in a heartfelt plea.

Channel 2 Now has highlighted that Felicia Spicer, Jayden’s mother, has a previous charge related to child endangerment. Since this information became public, she has requested privacy.

As the search continues, with multiple organizations and volunteers, Breathitt County Emergency Management posted that anyone with any information on Jayden’s whereabouts should contact Kentucky State Police at Post 13 in Hazard at 606-435-6069.

Tipsters can use the Tip Line on the Kentucky State Police website.
