GHISLAINE Maxwell’s infamous London residence, associated with the allegations against Prince Andrew regarding Virginia Giuffre, has not been sold.

The Belgravia property, where Andrew was notably photographed with Giuffre, has been withdrawn from the sale market.

Maxwell’s former residence had been listed for a year with an asking price of £3.25M, which is nearly twice what it was sold for four years ago.

The Duke of York allegedly engaged in sexual activities with Giuffre, who passed away at 41 earlier this year, at this location in 2001.

Giuffre’s testimony claims she was 17 at the time and that the encounter occurred in the bathtub.

Maxwell refuted the claim during a defamation hearing, asserting under oath that the “tub is too small for any type of activity”.

The disgraced royal has also long denied these claims.

The home provided the background for the infamous photo of Andrew with his arm around Giuffre.

Now, Land Registry has confirmed that the property isn’t being sold, but being remortgaged by property developer Stuart Robinson.

Robinson bought the three-storey mews house for £1.75M in April 2021 from Maxwell.

The first pictures of the property emerged in January 2022 when Robinson unsuccessfully tried to flip the property for £2.6M.

It was reported that the inside of the property had remained untouched since Maxwell.

The original listing showed the bathroom had remained the same since when “Randy Andy” and Giuffre allegedly had sex in the tub.

It featured the same artwork in the lounge, including a replica of Andy Warhol’s portrait of Marilyn Monroe.

The place was gathering dust for more than a year after Maxwell was forced to sell in order to pay her hefty legal fees.

Prince Andrew has never been more toxic – the public hate him and NONE of the royals back him either

One woman who has worked on the street for years, explained the house had remained empty for years before it was sold by Maxwell.

Wendy Howard told The Sun: “I know they sold the property fairly quickly and for a discount.

“I’m surprised, it’s not really the type of house anyone would want to buy. It really has the wrong associations.

“Personally, I thought the whole situation was seedy and very disappointing.”

One unnamed neighbour told the Daily Mail back in 2023 that she hopes a family will move into the property adding: “It’s a great house.

“I think it’d be pretty fun for a young couple actually, living across from a pub… it’s not like someone died there.

“But it’s weird – I think most people wouldn’t care.”

Earlier this year, The Sun revealed the swanky home, just around the corner from Harrods, was on sale with estate agents Chestertons.

There was unsurprisingly no hint on the listing of its gruesome past with the convicted sex trafficker.

It was described as “a charming, newly refurbished three bedroom house arranged over 3 floors”.

It appeared that the main bathroom was the same, with only the sink cupboards and the bathroom panel having been changed.

In 2023, Ghislaine’s brother Ian released a bizarre photo of two full clothed people sitting in a bath with Prince Andrew and Virginia masks on.

The stunt was believed to be proof the bath was too small for sex.

But it was widely criticised by royal experts, lawyers and members of the public alike.

Many blasted it “surreal”, “absurd” and argued “it proves nothing”.

Ghislaine Maxwell is the ex-partner of paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein and the daughter of former media tycoon Robert Maxwell.

In 2021 she was found guilty of child sex trafficking and sentenced to twenty years imprisonment.

It comes as reports emerged that she was quizzed about Prince Andrew during nine hours of questions.

US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche asked her about more than 100 people linked to Epstein.

The meeting came after President Trump faced questions over his own links to Epstein, who killed himself in jail awaiting trial in 2019.

A source, quoted by The Mail on Sunday, said: “Ghislaine has never told her story to anyone in government before.

“She told the truth and didn’t back away from any questions. She wants the truth to come out.

“At times it was very emotional but she answered every question asked of her.”
