Baltimore police conducting homicide investigation after mass shooting victim dies from injuries

One of the six victims of a mass shooting in Baltimore, Maryland, has died, police confirmed.

The Baltimore Police Department informed Fox News Digital that a victim, known only as a 38-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries this morning, and the situation is currently being treated as a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:46 p.m. to a report of a shooting at Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues. Upon arrival, they discovered six victims — four men and two women — which included a 5-year-old girl who sustained a gunshot wound to her hand.

Police Commissioner Richard Worley said the child’s injury does not appear to be serious.

Police did not suggest any possible motive for the shooting. and so far they have not apprehended any suspects
