A man in Texas is facing charges for allegedly confronting two young girls in an elementary school parking lot wearing only a diaper and a pacifier around his neck, while reportedly saying, “Goo goo ga ga, I need a diaper change,” according to police.
Wesley Worl, 45, is claimed to have approached the girls while they were on bikes and scooters near Andy Woods Elementary School in Tyler last Wednesday. He faces charges of criminal solicitation of a minor and criminal trespass.
Tyler Police Department’s Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh confirmed to Law&Crime that Worl was arrested at his workplace later that day after the girls identified him. According to his arrest affidavit obtained by local ABC affiliate KLTV, the children went to a nearby resident’s home to report the incident. They appeared “visibly shaking” and “truly petrified,” as per the document.
“Will you change my diaper for me?” Worl allegedly asked them before the kids fled.
“Goo goo ga ga, I need a diaper change,” he allegedly said.
In their frightened state, the girls fell and injured their knees while trying to reach help, according to authorities. They both described a “scary man” pursuing them, the affidavit details.
Court documents reveal that Worl has faced numerous charges since 1999, including arrests for stalking and improper conduct towards children, with one incident where he allegedly claimed he was checking his diaper when police caught him with his hand in his shorts.
