A trio of people suspected of burglarizing Brad Pitt’s Southern California home two months ago have been arrested, police said Monday.

The burglary of the Oscar-winning actor’s home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles occurred this past June 26, authorities told NBC LA.

At the time of the theft at his Southern California home, Pitt, 61, was promoting his racing film F1 in Japan, authorities reported.

The suspects, a trio, had committed one burglary too many, which allowed investigators to connect them to the theft at the Shawnee, Oklahoma-native actor’s residence.

Officials informed NBC LA that the suspects were caught in the Pitt case following evidence gathered from a different attempted break-in that tied them to the incident at Pitt’s property.

Police had been deep into their investigation into who broke into the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood star’s home in June, NBC LA reported.

Authorities had been reviewing surveillance tapes and comparing fingerprints from the crime scene to pinpoint the culprits in the burglary of the Hollywood legend’s residence in Los Feliz.

The probe indicated the burglars had climbed over a fence to gain access to Pitt‘s property, police told NBC LA.

Once inside, authorities stated, the burglars took possessions belonging to the actor who famously portrayed Tyler Durden in the 1999 film Fight Club.

Authorities were able to cull footage from security camera clips and other resources in their efforts to identify and arrest the burglary suspects, NBC LA reported.

Police told the TV station that the burglary crew apprehended in connection with the Pitt robbery didn’t appear to be specifically targeting famous people in their crime spree.
