Savannah State University faculty member participates in Harvard Business School seminar

A faculty member from the College of Business Administration at Savannah State University (SSU) received a nomination to attend a seminar organized by Harvard Business School (HBS).

SSU President Jermaine Whirl has nominated Dr. Christopher Torrance to participate in the Teaching with Cases Seminar for business faculty members.

The seminar took place from July 30 to August 1, 2025, on the Harvard Business School campus located in Boston, Massachusetts. This development program aligns with Harvard’s dedication to advancing faculty proficiency in case-based teaching techniques.

The program provides participants with the resources necessary to enhance students’ critical thinking and decision-making abilities, skills that will be advantageous throughout their professional journeys.
