Neighbor from hell erects TRAIN horn to roof and blasts it

A so-called ‘neighbor from hell’ has installed an extremely loud train horn on top of his house, sounding it up to three times a day in the midst of a continuous dispute with his neighbors.

Gary Boyadzhian, 50, has admitted to blasting the horn daily to get the attention of LAPD.

Neighbors on a street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, say they’ve been enduring the blasts for months with no end in sight.

‘I am aware that it’s not fair to my neighbors, completely,’ Boyadzhian confessed to ABC7. ‘If I were in their situation, I would complain too. It’s loud and it’s disturbing.’

Boyadzhian says he sounds both his home alarm and a set of three ear-splitting train horns nearly every day, sometimes for several minutes at a time.

‘I need help. I don’t know how else to cry out for it. That’s why I’m setting off the sirens,’ he said. ‘I’m crying out for help.’

Boyadzhian has not disclosed what the dispute is about but neighbors are fed up.

There are signs posted across the neighborhood, urging residents to call police when they hear the blasts.

Gary Boyadzhian, 50, has acknowledged sounding the horn daily to attract the attention of the LAPD. Residents of a street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, report enduring these sounds for months without relief in sight.

One resident, who didn’t want her name used, told the outlet that police rarely arrive in time to catch Boyadzhian in the act.

‘It makes the windows shake,’ she mentioned. ‘He does it and then stops, and by the time (the police) arrive 40 minutes later… they can’t do anything. They’ve been here three days in a row.’

Other residents described the sound as ‘piercing’ and ‘horrific’ to FOX11.

‘Suddenly, this person first sets off his house alarm, letting it run continuously. Then occasionally, he uses the horn,’ Debbie, a neighbor, shared with FOX11. ‘And it’s unbelievably loud.’

‘My brother, he works at night. He goes to bed, so he’s trying to sleep. And this idiot’s over here. And literally it goes on for sometimes hours.’

‘You’ll see him out in the yard at midnight with a light on his forehead, working in the yard, cutting the tree in the dark,’ she added.

‘I mean. He’s a real nut.’

So far, he had not received a citation from police because they have never come in time to catch him in the act.

LAPD officers have reportedly told the neighbors they need to witness the noise firsthand to issue a citation.

‘Regarding the location, we are in talks with the city attorney about options, as well as using other department resources to assist,’ LAPD’s Van Nuys division said.
