CINCINNATI – Five out of the seven defendants involved in the widely viewed Cincinnati altercation were present in court on Thursday morning, where they faced additional charges amid a charged exchange about the incident.
The first to be arraigned was Montanez Merriweather, who this week received an extra federal charge for possessing a firearm illegally due to a previous felony conviction.
Prosecutor Kip Guinan disclosed the existence of two more videos captured by nearby city cameras, providing different perspectives of the incident that remain undisclosed to the public. Guinan also mentioned that racial epithets allegedly directed at the suspects were made almost two minutes after the conflict started.

If convicted, they face the possibility of up to 30 years in prison.
A seventh individual, Gregory Wright, was arrested earlier this week and is charged with alleged aggravated rioting and aggravated robbery.
