A FITNESS influencer has been killed in a horror crash after cycling into the back of a parked car before being run over a lorry.
Mum-of-one Nicole Brenda Santos Marins, 28, died after hitting a vehicle parked on the hard shoulder of a motorway in Palhoca, Brazil.
Nicole was on a Honda Biz motorcycle when she collided with a Fiat Doblo that had pulled over on the shoulder due to mechanical issues, according to local authorities.
She was flung off of her bike and she landed in the middle of the motorway.
The personal trainer was then hit by a large vehicle – which proceeded to drive off without offering help.
The 31-year-old driver of the Fiat Doblo was not injured.
The glamorous fitness coach was also a personal trainer who worked at a local gym in the Praia de Fora neighbourhood.
She taught online classes and regularly shared routines to her thousands of Instagram followers.
Her partner, Alisson Cravo, paid tribute to the tragic gym instructor on social media.
He called her “an incredible, hard-working, and courageous woman” and “a wonderful mother”.
Heartbroken Alisson wrote: “A wonderful mother, she did everything she could to see her prince smile.
“A woman of value, a partner, simple, humble, with a huge heart, who transmitted kindness and light.”
A probe into the exact circumstances of her death is still ongoing.
The horrifying three-vehicle collision unfolded on the BR-101 road, in Greater Florianópolis.
In her Instagram profile, Nicole wrote in her bio that she inspires “women to become their best selves” through her work.
She had 3,200 followers on Instagram, where she also posted pictures of her friends and family.
It comes after YouTube stars Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans died when their off-road car plunged 650ft down a mountain.
Rescuers suspect the pair perished after losing control of their vehicle while navigating rough terrain in the mountains close to Trout Lake in British Columbia, Canada.
The pair, who were also engaged, were behind the Toyota World Runners YouTube channel.
They had gathered over 200,000 subscribers and more than 72,000 Instagram followers by documenting their awe-inspiring journeys throughout North and South America.
