Hulk Hogan may have been the victim of medical malpractice at the time of his death, a new bombshell report claims. 

The iconic WWE star, known by his real name Terry Bollea, passed away at the age of 71 on July 24. Initially, it was determined that he faced cardiac arrest in his Clearwater, Florida home before dying at a local medical facility.

However, nearly a month after his death, questions have emerged regarding the true cause. It has surprisingly been suggested that medical negligence might be to blame for his demise.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources indicated that a therapist informed officers responding to the 911 call at Hogan’s residence that the former wrestler may have been a victim of medical malpractice.

The therapist, who was not named, allegedly told officers that during a recent medical procedure the surgeon ‘severed’ Hogan’s phrenic nerve.

The phrenic nerve plays a vital role in breathing by controlling the diaphragm, the muscle essential for inhaling and exhaling. Damage to this nerve can paralyze the diaphragm, leading to breathing difficulties.

Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, to whom he was wed in 2023, reportedly raised the alert when he stopped breathing, leading to the emergency call for help.

TMZ reports that the officers on-site discussed the surprising information from the therapist, with their conversations recorded on body camera footage.

A month before his death, a source revealed to DailyMail.com that Hogan – who was embroiled in a shocking family feud with his ex-wife Linda and estranged daughter Brooke earlier this year – was trying to work his way back to ‘100 percent’ after neck and back operations. It is unclear which surgery the therapist was referring to. 

‘Hulk has a body ravaged by wrestling, his body is the body of a 140-year-old man with all the bumps and bruises through the years, and his recent neck and back surgeries have been harder to come back from,’ a source close to Hogan said. 

His wife Sky had denied rumors he was on his deathbed in a coma – and claimed his heart was ‘strong’ after he underwent a routine neck surgery. 

Hogan had also previously opened up about undergoing ’25 surgeries in the past decade.’

The news of the therapists bombshell claim comes just one day after Hogan’s estranged daughter Brooke demanded to see police body cam footage from the day of the WWE icon’s death.

The TV personality initially remained silent in the wake of his death, before later demanding an autopsy on his body and seemingly accused the authorities of foul play.

She later backtracked over those comments but has now returned to social media to claim that body cam footage could ‘shed enough light to change the narrative’.

On her Instagram story Wednesday, she wrote: ‘FACT: I’ve 100% gotten legit calls from professionals- from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative we/I/everyone’s been hearing. 

‘Those same professionals feel so passionately about what they witnessed, they have continued to contact me and push me to find specific answers to this very day. 

‘They are quite literally putting their careers at risk because they feel so compelled to do the right thing. The short of it is- it’s all up to my dad’s wife and I have zero control. I can not do anything, my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad – even as his daughter. Those are the rules as I’ve been told.

In another story, she wrote: ‘I do not have any information on if or when he is being cremated. Could have been right after he died, could be tomorrow. I do not know.

‘I have been told by my brother there will be an autopsy. I do not know who will be performing the autopsy. Any information I receive from an autopsy- if one happens-whether I believe it or not, I will be keeping private out of respect for my father.

Brooke released the bombshell statement on her Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon

‘I do not have answers as to if the officials who have contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office. And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.

‘All body cam footage and 911 dispatch calls are not available via the freedom of information act. It’s all on lockdown. I do not know why.

‘Do I question his general physician signing off on his death certificate, given his background which is available for anyone to see via a simple Google search? You can answer that one for yourself.

‘I have to trust that my brother is doing his best to get answers. At the end of the day, answers would be great, but none of it brings my dad back. And my hands are tied’.

Brooke had previously shared an article by radio personality and Hogan friend Bubba the Love Sponge, which read: ‘Quick cremation without autopsy raises questions about Hulk Hogan’s death.’ Brooke added a caption: ‘Exactly.’

The Clearwater Police Department attempted to squash any outlandish theory about Hogan’s death as they said: ‘As previously stated, there are no signs of foul play or anything suspicious about the death’.

Hogan was pronounced dead at a hospital less than 90 minutes after medics arrived at his home in Clearwater to answer a call about a cardiac arrest on the morning of July 24, police said. The report said the cause of death was ‘natural.’

Bubba’s allegations include that Hogan’s body has already been cremated, somebody could have injected something into the wrestler’s dialysis port while he slept to induce a heart attack and questions around why an autopsy wasn’t carried out.

Bubba, whose real name is Todd Clem, did not offer facts to substantiate his stunning claims, which stem from a report in the Tampa Bay Times from July 31 that says Hogan was ‘doing therapy’ when he collapsed at his home in Clearwater Beach on July 24.

The report says paramedics told staff at Morton Plant Hospital that Hogan had just returned home from surgery and was ‘currently waiting to start dialysis’. Clem claims nobody knew the wrestling icon was due to begin dialysis.

In a bid to revive him, medics reportedly gave Hogan drugs that can treat excessive levels of potassium, a sign of kidney failure. These can lead to cardiac arrest.

Hogan was also given two milligrams of Narcan, the drug that can quickly reverse opioid overdoses. There is no indication that Hogan had overdosed.

However, The Tampa Bay Times also revealed the Pinellas County Medical Examiner did not perform an autopsy on Hogan because his death was not deemed to be suspicious.

In the wake of Brooke’s wild claims, Hogan’s ex-wife Sky Daily spoke out about the conspiracy theories and urged those outside of the family not to take them seriously. 

Referring to ‘misleading media stories created by faceless AI accounts’ and ‘people not close enough to truly know what was happening,’ Daily urged followers to be ‘patient’ as news continues to trickle out about Hogan’s fatal heart attack.

In the days before his passing, WWE superstar Hogan was able to reconcile with his estranged daughter over a ‘tearful conversation’.

However, Brooke revealed she had felt her father starting to pull away – saying he no longer wanted support or advice from her, despite his health issues.
