On Thursday, Villanova University issued an active shooter alert via its Nova Alert system, advising students and staff to lock and barricade their doors.

The university said to move to a secure location and stay clear of Law School Scarpa Hall.

The Radnor Township Police Department said it is at the scene and asked all nearby residents and students to shelter in place.

The university’s security office told Fox News it is investigating.

Gunman Patrick Joseph White, 30, took his own life after allegedly killing DeKalb County police officer David Rose, 33.

White is accused of shooting hundreds of rounds into six CDC buildings, though no employees were injured.
