Parents of missing baby 'harassed,' receiving death threats

() Parents of missing California baby Emmanuel Haro say they are being harassed and have received death threats.

Jake and Rebecca Haro claim they dialed 911 on Wednesday night after unknown individuals trespassed on their property, took items from their porch, and pounded on their door.

Authorities continue to search for 7-month-old Emmanuel, who was reported missing on August 14. His mother, Rebecca, informed police he was abducted from the parking lot of a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Yucaipa by a stranger who rendered her unconscious while she was changing his diaper.

“The scene outside the house is quite chaotic… there’s a significant media presence, along with many TikTokers and various curious individuals, including some questionable characters,” stated senior investigative producer Allison Weiner during “Elizabeth Vargas Reports.”

“Individuals are stepping onto the lawn, approaching the house, and knocking on the door. I witnessed some of these actions. Essentially, this case has stirred a lot of emotional reactions from people.”

Weiner said Jake Haro is “Very frightened, and when they left their house, everybody ran after their car.”

Police mention that Rebecca Haro refused further interviews when confronted with discrepancies in the account of Emmanuel’s disappearance, and detectives have yet to eliminate the possibility of foul play. Jake Haro’s lawyer informed “Banfield” on Tuesday that Haro is eager to assist the police and has surrendered all his electronic devices and passwords.

The lawyer mentioned that Rebecca Haro, whom he is not representing, agreed to take a lie detector test as long as her lawyer was present, but both parties couldn’t agree on the terms. Jake Haro’s attorney has since gone into hiding due to receiving death threats and fearing for his safety.

The sister of missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro, Promise Faith, was badly injured at 10 weeks old, to the point of no longer being able to see, talk or walk, according to journalist Abby Escobar.

Jake Haro pleaded guilty to willful child cruelty after Promise was admitted to a hospital with broken bones in 2018, according to the Orange County Register.
