A NURSE allegedly caught sexually assaulting her 15-year-old stepson by her husband has been convicted.

An article highlights an incident involving Alexis Von Yates, 34, who allegedly told her teenage stepson “how horny” she felt after two weeks without intimacy. She reportedly initiated inappropriate behavior with him at her residence in Florida, as detailed in court documents.

The former nurse has been convicted after accepting a no-contest plea deal to a charge of lewd and lascivious battery.

She was originally charged with sexual battery on a person 12 to 18 years of age by a person in familial custody.

Her conviction is for alleged late-night oral sex and intercourse with her teen stepson on the couch – in the house she shared with her husband.

The boy was visiting Von Yates and his father in Ocala, Florida, for the summer vacation.

On July 26, 2024, Yates reportedly put her own two children to bed and joined her stepson in the living room.

The pair used a THC vape, played video games and watched movies, according to the arrest document.

Yates’ husband – the boy’s father – is a lineman, so often worked late.

At around 1am, Yates put on a horror movie and tried to seduce her stepson, the teen told cops.

Yates reportedly said “she had not had sex in two weeks and she was on her period”.

The two were said to have moved closer and began kissing, with Yates expressing regret that he wasn’t 18 yet, as documented in the affidavit.

They then engaged in oral sex and intercourse, according to the arrest document.

Unexpectedly, the boy’s father came home and discovered his wife and child undressed on the sofa, leading to the 15-year-old’s hurried exit from the home, based on statements in the affidavit.

According to a police report, the teen overheard Von Yates giving a sick excuse for her behaviour.

He reportedly “overheard the suspect telling [his] father she was sorry, saying the child victim looks like his father when he was younger”.

She was allegedly caught in the act when her husband came home unexpectedly

In a further unsettling development, Yates allegedly contacted the boy the next day, commenting on the size of his private parts.

She allegedly said she wished they hadn’t been caught so they could have continued in the act.

Prosecutors said the victim’s family supported the plea deal.

Under its terms, Von Yates will spend two years in jail, followed by two years of community control.

She will also be on sex offender probation for ten years, and must complete 200 hours of community service.

Von Yates’ nursing license was suspended following her November 6, 2024, arrest.
