Gavin Newsom is still allegedly the Governor of California.
Yet, he spends all his time on social media and his podcast, aiming to elevate himself to a national platform by “challenging” President Donald Trump. In doing so, he’s managed to embarrass himself. Additionally, Newsom’s strategies are so poor that he is even targeting businesses, which is arguably the last action you’d take if you wanted to entice companies to your state.
Recently, Marcus Lemonis, the executive chairman of Bed Bath & Beyond, commented that they had no plans to operate in California due to the difficulties encountered there.
As my colleague Sister Toldjah pointed out, Newsom’s retort to Lemonis was absurd: “The company that already went bankrupt and closed every store across the country two years ago? Ok.”
Lemonis then leveled him, saying Newsom should want companies to invest in his state, but instead, he rejected it.
