President Trump has reintroduced a concept that many Democrats have seemingly forgotten—facing the repercussions for one’s actions. The day of reckoning has arrived for cartel boss Ismael Zambada Garcia:

Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada — co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel — pleaded guilty Monday to leading a criminal enterprise and racketeering.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a plea in Brooklyn, highlighting that Zambada admitted to a long history of crime with the Sinaloa Cartel, which is classified as a foreign terrorist group.

“Thanks to the tireless efforts of our prosecutors and federal agents, El Mayo will remain imprisoned for life. He will spend his last days in a U.S. federal facility where he rightly belongs,” Bondi stated. “This guilty plea advances our mission to dismantle drug cartels and international criminal organizations worldwide that are inundating our nation with narcotics, human traffickers, and violence.”
