Temperatures remain on the chilly side this morning with low to mid 50s in the Tri-Cities, even a few 40s in the mountains.

Expect another beautiful October-like day with highs in the mid 70s in the Tri-Cities, mid 60s in the mountains.

Near record lows
Under largely clear skies and extremely dry air, temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 40s in the Tri-Cities, coming close to the existing record low of 46. Wednesday night is anticipated to be comparable with almost record-setting lows in the upper 40s.

Mountains could see a few upper 30s to low 40s tonight and Wednesday night.

Gradual warming trend into the weekend
The afternoons will be very mild through the week with mid 70s through Thursday, upper 70s on Friday and about 80 this weekend.

Labor Day is looking good with a partly cloudy sky and highs near 80.

Staying below average into next week
Conditions will remain slightly below average into next week with highs near 80 and lows in the low to mid 50s.
