After two years of dating, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce confirmed their engagement on Tuesday by posting a romantic photoshoot with the two of them to Instagram.

The happy couple — whose highly-publicized romance kicked off in 2023 — posed together in what looked like an enchanted garden as Swift, 35, showed of her massive ring for the first time for her 281 million followers.

They were surrounded by incredible arrangements of pink, white, and red flowers, with Kelce, 35, getting down on one knee under a stunning floral arch.

And now, the location of the couple’s engagement shoot has been revealed — and there’s a sentimental meaning.

According to an expired Zillow listing unearthed by Daily Mail, Kelce popped the question to Swift in the backyard of his $6million mansion in Leawood, Kansas.

The NFL superstar famously purchased the home just one month after going public with his and Swift’s romance in September 2023.

However, it’s clear that Kelce has spruced up the grounds in the two years since he snapped up the lavish abode in the affluent city.

Before the lush greenery, pots of blooming flowers and rock formations, the location of the couple’s shoot was mostly barren.

It had just a few plants, a wrought iron gazebo with a bench and wood chips covering much of the terrain.

Kelce did keep some of the area’s original decor as the white planters and charming brick walkway are visible in his engagement photos with Swift.

He also appears to have kept the original wrought iron gazebo but he completely transformed into a storybook-worthy love den for himself and Swift.

The sprawling 16,921 square-foot property proved to be the perfect backdrop for the couple’s milestone moment as Swift’s Instagram post has already garnered over 24million ‘likes’ in less than 24 hours.

Along with the sweet carousel of photos, Swift captioned the announcement, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’ 

For the romantic shoot with Kelce, Swift looked radiant in a striped silk-blend sundress by Ralph Lauren ($490).

The Anti-Hero singer elevated the romantic daytime look with a pair of Louis Vuitton ‘Isola’ sandals ($930) and her Cartier ‘Santos Demoiselle’ watch ($18,330), a dazzling diamond-encrusted timepiece fans may recognize from her appearance on Travis’ New Heights podcast earlier this month.

Additionally, she donned a $1,400 Foundrae ring, $2,675 Tiffany & Co. necklace and $18,500 Louis Vuitton bracelet. 

Her sandals were also a repeat as she previously wore them while visiting a children’s hospital over the summer. 

For his part, Kelce appeared to match his fiancée in a $138 short-sleeve, navy-blue cable knit polo shirt which seemed to also be by designer Ralph Lauren. 

All together, the singer’s outfit came to nearly $42,275 —not including the price of her breathtaking new accessory, estimated to cost anywhere between $750,000 to $1 million. 

On her ring finger, the centerpiece of the shoot, was a striking oval-cut diamond set in yellow gold, a vintage-inspired sparkler that instantly set social media alight with speculation about its history.

Kelce popped the question with a massive diamond engagement that’s reportedly worth between $700,000 to $1,000,000

‘Her ring features a striking 12 carat cushion-cut diamond – an elongated shape with softly rounded corners that balances brilliance with a romantic, understated elegance. The stone sits in a yellow gold setting, paired with a simple, polished band that lets the diamond take centre stage,’ he said.

‘That makes it one of the most significant pieces in Taylor’s jewelry collection. She’s often seen wearing spectacular custom designs on stage and red carpets, but an engagement ring like this carries a very different weight – it’s deeply personal, and its importance goes far beyond its price tag,’ he told DailyMail.com.

Monil Kothari, NYC jewelry expert, called the piece ‘an absolutely breathtaking ring.’

‘The center stone appears to be an old mine–cut diamond in excess of 9 carats, a style prized for its vintage charm and distinctive sparkle,’ she conjectured. ‘A diamond of this size and quality could easily be valued well into the seven figures.’ 

According to Sarah Chapelle, who wrote Taylor Swift Style: Fashion Through the Eras and runs a Taylor Swift fashion blog, reported that Travis worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry for Taylor’s ring.

‘If my eyes don’t deceive me, in the photo we have of the ring it appears that part of the filigree work includes a small ‘T’ on the side, which I would guess is mirrored on the other side of the band,’ she wrote on Instagram.

The couple went public with their relationship back in September 2023 when the singer appeared at a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna.

Since that day, nearly two years ago, their romance has captivated the world, with Swift supporting Kelce’s run to two Super Bowls while the football star has traveled alongside her around the globe on her wildly successful Eras tour.

Kelce’s close friend Patrick Mahomes was quick to congratulate the couple, sharing Swift’s post on Instagram with three love-hearts. 

Within minutes, the couple’s joint post received likes from stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Vanessa Bryant and Kelsea Ballerini. 

Even the NFL reposted one of their engagement photos, along with a message of  congratulations. 

Taylor Nation also chimed in to write: ‘It’s a love story, baby, she SAID YES!’

In the wake of the announcement, Swift, Kelce and her hit Love Story began trending.

Prior to Kelce, Swift was in a six-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn, 34, and had brief romances with Calvin Harris, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Harry Styles and John Mayer.

Meanwhile, her husband-to-be dated content creator and sports reporter, Kayla Nicole, from 2017 to 2022. 

His other past relationships include Maya Benberry, who he met on his reality show Catching Kelce in 2016, and Zuri Hall, who he was linked with in early 2023.
