Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially engaged – and the pop star didn’t make fans wait to get a close-up of her jaw-dropping engagement ring.

The pop icon and the NFL star, both 35, who have been in a relationship for two years, made their exciting announcement on Tuesday with a romantic engagement photoshoot featuring Kelce proposing in a rose garden.

Swift captioned the post: ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

The star shared the post on her Instagram, set to the ballad So High School, which is about her enduring love for Kelce. 

And of course, all eyes were on the Grammy winner’s massive diamond ring.

Lubeck’s biography highlights that the Neptune Beach, Florida-born jewelry designer is ‘a goldsmith, hand engraver, and vintage jewelry collector’ who currently creates unique pieces in New York.

It is worth an estimated $500,000 to $1 million. 

According to Fine jewellery company VRAI, ‘Old Mine Cut diamonds are square shaped with rounded corners and have 58 facets. 

‘However, no two Old Mine Cut diamonds are alike and you can recognise one by its small table, larger culet and high crown.’

“Taylor Swift was proposed to with a stunning elongated antique cushion-cut diamond that is approximately eight carats, F color, and VS1 clarity,” Estate Diamond Jewelry’s Benjamin Khordipour told wedding site Brides.

The ring is said to be by the fashionable New Zealand-born and London-based jeweler, Jessica McCormack, and is estimated to be worth over $200,000 (roughly £149k).

The insider further explained that the couple, ‘have legally married and done all the paperwork.’

‘It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.’ Millie’s parents were also in attendance, along with the I’ll Be There For You hitmaker.

The couple were first linked back in 2021 and announced their engagement last year in April.
