She has demonstrated her readiness to do whatever is required to advance her career, particularly evident during her stint on the game show Deal Or No Deal, where she appeared as a ‘briefcase model’ dressed in minimal attire.
Therefore, she is likely unfazed by the criticism that her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, has received in its second season, described by one reviewer as ‘a series struggling for purpose, led by someone seemingly in need of income’.
But might Meghan Sussex heed the words of an old friend, if only because, as has been pointed out, this new series is ‘all about friendship’?
The reason for this inquiry is that a former acquaintance has taken the chance to offer her some straightforward advice. Lizzie Cundy, a model turned TV and radio host who met Meghan in 2013 at a charity event in London, cautions that her former associate must make a fresh start.
‘Regardless of how many jars of jam she produces, she needs to drop the act. She’s not [lifestyle icon] Martha Stewart,’ states Cundy, who initially found Meghan to be ‘really fun, really sweet.’ Meghan should ‘embrace her true self,’ adds 57-year-old Cundy, who has recounted how Meghan once inquired if she knew ‘any famous men’, noting that she was single and had a fondness for English men.
However, the issue, Cundy notes, is that Meghan cannot unwind as she once did because of the unfavorable comparisons to the Princess of Wales.
‘She’s upset by how much the public adore Kate. She needs to stop harboring resentment, quit being angry and stop the “poor me” act,’ observes Cundy, who was cut off by Meghan following her relationship with Prince Harry.
She advises Meghan to ‘take a leaf out of Kate’s book’.
But that might be too bitter a pill for her to swallow…

Lying in a coffin for Channel 4’s The Inheritance may seem beneath a star of Elizabeth Hurley’s talents.

Pop star Raye’s ‘dangerous’ battle with substance abuse saw her addicted to cocaine, marijuana and codeine. But now the singer, who scooped six Brit Awards last year, says therapy has helped her speak openly about her path to sobriety.
‘I think I’m doing alright in the therapy process of opening up and letting things go,’ the London-born singer revealed while performing at the All Points East festival in London’s Victoria Park.
Raye, real name Rachel Keen, added: ‘I think that the subject of addictions is a very common experience, but it’s quite awkward to talk about illegal addictions as a woman in this day and age, in my humble opinion.’
