Emilie Kiser ended a three-month period of silence regarding the tragic death of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, who lost his life in a drowning accident at their Arizona home’s pool back in May.

Kiser, a 26-year-old popular TikTok influencer with a significant following, shared her first heartfelt message on social platforms on Thursday. She expressed that her grief is beyond what words can convey.

The case has drawn national attention given Kiser’s public platform as a “mom influencer” with more than 4 million TikTok followers.

Kiser’s message provided the first glimpse into how her family is coping.

In her Instagram story, Emilie Kiser described her son’s passing as an unbearable ordeal no family should endure.

Additionally, Kiser mentioned the necessity of setting firmer boundaries around her online presence to ensure her family’s privacy. She pointed out, “Through this tragedy, I’ve realized how relationships developed online can often overlook children’s privacy needs. Going forward, I am committed to setting stricter boundaries on what I share publicly.”

She took the opportunity to show gratitude to her family and supporters, stating, “We couldn’t navigate this painful journey without our family. Their unwavering support, limitless love, and constant presence are invaluable.” Kiser continued, “To everyone who has reached out with kindness and supported us during this tough time, we are deeply thankful.”

The Chandler Police Department has put forward a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse for Brady Kiser in relation to the tragic drowning of their son, Trigg.

The Chandler Police Department recommended a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady Kiser, but prosecutors determined the evidence did not meet the threshold for a “reasonable likelihood of conviction.”

Emilie Kiser has filed a lawsuit seeking to block the release of investigative records tied to Trigg’s death.

Child drownings remain a leading cause of accidental death in Arizona for children under the age of five.
